Mr Stoppkotte, Promens’ Sales Director for Europe, tells Sax, " this year two-thirds of the export plans written by the students did not pass the required quality level Saxion dictates. Those students that were selected to present their findings made were excellent. I was once again impressed by the content, the student’s commitment, and their confidence during the presentations. Promens can really use the data, and that is a quite admirable and unexpected result for students in the first 6 months of their studies."
Thierry Tartarin, Lecturer at MIM and Project Coordinator commented, “Material handling products might not be the sexiest product to start with in the first semester of a 4 year education program but it is a way to identify the "boys" from the "men". This unique experience with Promens will be useful for the rest of the future marketers’ careers. Together with my colleague and fellow Project Coordinator Roel Rietberg, we are pleased to report that the students now know what an export plan for a business to business product is all about. It also gave them a taste of what is yet to come!"
