Raising money for Haiti

Today the Pabo in Deventer started raising money for the victims of last week’s earthquake in Haiti. People can donate money until Friday, January 22, 2010.

On Thursday you can donate money at Saxion Deventer (Handelskade) in the main lobby. On Friday you can find the collection box on the Pabo square, (fourth floor - A-wing).

If you have any time available on Thursday or Friday, to help out and assist for an hour with collecting money please contact Sophia Opdam (s.g.opdam@saxion.nl) of Ineke van der Laarse (j.w.vanderlaarse@saxion.nl).

The Pabo is asking all Saxion staff members and students to help out and raise money for Haiti. This can be done on a small scale, but also for example by students who are currently interning at a company. If you have access to materials about Haiti and the earthquake, the Pabo would like to hear from you as well. The plan is to set up a table with information on Haiti.

All proceeds will be donated to Giro 555 (Dutch organization that collects and distributes donations).
