Cooperation agreement Saxion and regional hospital

On November 16, 2009, representatives from Saxion and the regional hospital MST renewed their agreement of cooperation. Included in the new agreement is a teaching department at the MST for Saxion students.

The accord between both parties allows our students to “work” in the hospital under supervision of professional healthcare workers. Saxion Healthcare Academy Director Frans Pol trusts the agreement will improve the quality of our education and increase internship positions for our students. Pol, “Look at it as a small piece of Saxion at the MST. Currently 8 of our students are working and studying in the neurology department.”

Representatives from both organizations will review and evaluate the open-ended agreement on an annual basis, with the possibility of expanding upon the current joint activities.
