The present collective agreement for approximately 42.000 employees in higher vocational training expires on Wednesday 1 February. Because this collective agreement has not been cancelled formally, it remains valid until a new agreement is made. The months of February and March will be used to get into further depth of certain subjects, the Board of Higher Vocational Training states.
When the collective agreement was made approximately a year and a half ago, arrangements were made regarding the 'collective agreement of the future'. This should connect to the education and research policy of the university of applied sciences as much as possible. Universities of applied sciences should also be able to seize up on economic changes in a more flexible way.
